Le Laboratoire de cyberjustice est un espace unique de réflexion et de création où les processus de justice sont modélisés et réimaginés afin d’améliorer l’accès à la justice. “Pay or Okay” is a consent model that acts as a legal basis for data collection. Users choose between a paid option that keeps their data private or a free option that allows Meta to collect extensive data. Following their decision to switch to this model in November 2023, several European data protection authorities asked about the legality of the model to the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and a concrete response was highly expected. The EDPB published its anticipated opinion on April 17, 2024.

Im Rahmen ihrer Marie Skłodowska-Curie Maßnahmen (MSCA) fördert die Europäische Union auch Programme zur strukturierten Ausbildung von Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden. Ziel dieser Promotionsnetzwerke ist es, Universitäten, Forschungseinrichtungen, Unternehmen und Akteure aus anderen Sektoren in Europa und darüber hinaus zusammenzubringen. In den gemeinsamen Forschungsprojekten soll der wissenschaftliche Nachwuchs eine hochqualitative Ausbildung erhalten. Eine große Rolle spielt dabei die Mobilität, also der wechselseitige Austausch der Promovierenden.

Am 29. April 2024 war Digitalminister Dr. Fabian Mehring aus dem Bayerischen Staatsministerium für Digitales zu Gast im bidt. Als Teil der Bayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und gefördert vom Bayerischen Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst, ist es uns ein Anliegen, im regelmäßigen politischen Dialog zu stehen.

Libyen, der Jemen und Haiti belegen die letzten Plätze des Rankings: Das sind die Ergebnisse aus dem zweiten Datensatz des Stateness Index StIx und dem dazugehörigen StIx Report 2023. Die Liste gibt Aufschluss über den Status Quo der Staatlichkeit von 174 Staaten weltweit inklusive der Verschlechterungen und Verbesserung zwischen 2022 und 2023.
