DMRC to Host ICA24 Postconference P³: Power, Propaganda, Polarisation
Together with DATALAB – Center for Digital Social Research at Aarhus University and the Center for Information, Technology, and Public Life at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the DMRC will host a two-day postconference on 26/27 June 2024, following the 2024 International Communication Association conference on the Gold Coast.

W grudniu 2023 r. Trybunał Sprawiedliwości Unii Europejskiej (TSUE) wydał pierwszy wyrok dotyczący zautomatyzowanego podejmowania decyzji. Sprawa dotyczy SCHUFA, czyli niemieckiej spółki, która zajmuje się oceną wiarygodności kredytowej (prywatnego biura informacji kredytowej). W oparciu o analizę danych i zastosowanie narzędzi statystycznych dokonuje ona wyliczenia prawdopodobieństwa co do tego w jaki sposób zachowa się dana osoba.

Within one week, several cases of personal data breaches affecting Lebanese citizens have been reported, the most flagrant of which was the leaking of public school teachers’ data.
Teachers were surprised to learn that their personal data, including their names, phone numbers, email addresses, and government salaries and bonuses, had been leaked on a WhatsApp group.
