Programa Par Explora Norte celebró el Día de la Educación Pública

Con la "Chocolatada científica: cáncer una biografía", dicho programa de divulgación científica encabezado por el académico de la U. de Chile e investigador del Centro Avanzado de Enfermedades Crónicas (ACCDiS), Mario Chiong, reunió a docenas de escolares para exponer y posteriormente dialogar sobre las causas, tratamientos y formas de prevenir esta enfermedad crónica.

50 años del Campus Antumapu de la U. de Chile: la historia en imágenes

Este lunes 19 de agosto se inauguró en la Casa Central de la Universidad de Chile, la muestra fotográfica "50 años de la Creación del Campus Antumapu". La exposición, inaugurada por el Rector Ennio Vivaldi, hace un recorrido por cuatro momentos emblemáticos de este espacio universitario: la pre-historia del campus, su materialización, la evolución y el patrimonio.

Universidades de Chile y de Los Lagos lanzan diplomado gratuito

Como parte de una mayor colaboración entre universidades estatales y frente a la necesidad de contar con más instancias de perfeccionamiento en la gestión cultural, se dio inicio a este programa que cuenta con 31 estudiantes de la Región de Los Lagos. Un curso que responde a una necesidad latente desde hace años y que es coordinado por el ICEI y la Academia de Arte y Cultura de la U. de Los Lagos.Ofrecer una alternativa democrática y de calidad a gestores y artistas de toda la Región de Los Lagos.

La Casa de Bello fue el único plantel nacional que se posicionó entre los mejores de Latinoamérica. La medición evalúa indicadores objetivos asociados al impacto de cada institución en la sociedad, tales como la calidad de sus estudiantes, profesores y egresados, su desempeño académico y producción científica. Este resultado se suma al liderazgo alcanzado recientemente en la clasificación específica por disciplinas de este ranking, en la que figuró como número uno de Chile en 19 áreas del conocimiento.

Wikimedia Foundation welcomes Robyn Arville as Chief Talent and Culture Officer

The Wikimedia Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of Robyn Arville as Chief Talent and Culture Officer (CTCO). Robyn brings 20 years of experience in human resources to the Foundation, most recently as the Head of People and Culture at the Public Library of Science (PLOS), where she worked to develop PLOS’s people strategy creating a culture that embraced innovation, learning, resilience and joy. She will join Wikimedia on 23 September.
