Die Preisbildung auf Märkten für Otto- und Dieselkraftstoff untersteht seit geraumer Zeit dem Verdacht möglicher Preisabsprachen zwischen den führenden Mineralölkonzernen. Solche Absprachen konnten allerdings bislang nie nachgewiesen werden. Auch die mehrjährige Sektoruntersuchung des Bundeskartellamtes konnte keine Belege für Absprachen zutage fördern. Im Vortrag wird erläutert, warum solche Absprachen aufgrund der Homogenität des Produktes Kraftstoff sowie der hohen Markttransparenz nicht erforderlich sind.
