Am letzten Donnerstag fand im Keller des ITM das Campuskickern 2019 statt. Studierende aller Fachrichtungen waren eingeladen, dem wilden Treiben rund um die weiße Kugel zu frönen. So spielten Designer gegen Juristen oder auch Musiker gegen Architekten. Für das leibliche Wohl war gesorgt, daneben wurde es dank Wikingerschach, Flunky-Ball und netten Gesprächen niemandem langweilig, der gerade am Kicker-Tisch aussetzen musste.

Helmut Sies (geboren 1942 in Goslar) studierte Medizin in Tübingen, München und Paris. Er promovierte 1967 an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, wo er sich auch 1972 für Physiologische Chemie und Physikalische Biochemie habilitierte. 1979 wurde er Professor an der HHU, wo er bis zu seiner Emeritierung im Jahr 2008 das Institut für Biochemie und Molekularbiologie leitete.

Earlier this month, in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) and the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, we delivered a training program on Internet Governance for 32 government officials in Myanmar’s capital city, Naypyidaw.
The program ran over three days covering various topics such as Internet policy principles and regulatory frameworks, Internet infrastructure and standards, Internet for development, and cybersecurity.
