Die Gewerkschaft hat ab heute (10. Oktober) zu einem 48-stündigen Warnstreik an Düsseldorfs größter Klinik aufgerufen. Sie will das Universitätsklinikum zu individuellen Tarifverhandlungen zwingen, obwohl das Klinikum Mitglied im Arbeitgeberverband und somit in der Tarifgemeinschaft deutscher Länder (TdL) organisiert ist. In der Vergangenheit wurden, wie in dieser Konstellation allgemein üblich, alle Tarifverhandlungen für das UKD seitens verdi stets mit der TdL geführt.

Es ist bereits die siebte Lange Nacht der Industrie, die am 12. Oktober 2017 Einblicke in sonst verschlossene Arbeits- und Produktionsprozesse ausgewählter Industrieunternehmen und Forschungsinstitutionen an Rhein und Ruhr ermöglicht. Rund 4.000 Besucher lockt das Event jedes Jahr aus der Region. Wie bereits in den Vorjahren ist die Apotheke des Universitätsklinikums Düsseldorf mit dabei. Tour 46 der Langen Nacht der Industrie ermöglicht einen Einblick in die Abläufe der im Jahr 2008 fertiggestellten Großapotheke.

What is net neutrality?
Net neutrality is the principle that Internet providers like Comcast & Verizon should not control what we see and do online. In 2015, startups, Internet freedom groups, and 3.7 million commenters won strong net neutrality rules from the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC). The rules prohibit from blocking, throttling, and paid prioritization—”fast lanes” for sites that pay, and slow lanes for everyone else.

Die Forscher hatten die veränderte Form des Proteins Alpha-Synuclein mittels UV-Strahlung erzeugt. Anschließend konnten sie experimentell beobachten, dass die derart veränderten Proteine die Bildung von Ablagerungen auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise beeinflussen. So verhindert die modifizierte Form von Alpha-Synuclein zum einen, dass sich unveränderte Proteine zu längeren Strängen, sogenannten Fibrillen, zusammenballen. Diese sind typischerweise der Ausgangspunkt für die Entstehung größerer Ablagerungen, die sich durch die weitergehende Verklumpung von Fibrillen bilden.
