Last month, the University of Oxford appointed Professor Soumitra Dutta as the new Dean of Saïd Business School. Professor Dutta is currently Professor of Management at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University, where he was also the founding Dean. He will take up his new post as Dean of Oxford Saïd on June 1st of this year.
Prior to his time at Cornell, he was on the faculty and leadership team of INSEAD, a leading international business school in France and Singapore. He is also the current Chair of the Global Business School Network.

Was bedeutet es konkret, eine Gesellschaft zu digitalisieren? Ist es in Deutschland beispielsweise denkbar, eine digitale Briefwahl abzuhalten? Was für Vor- und Nachteile bietet solch eine Veränderung? Oder wie lassen sich Smart-Cities wirklich realisieren? Solche Fragen stellt sich Prof. Dr. Christoph Bieber, Forschungsprofessor am CAIS in NRW, wenn er Digitalforschung betreibt. Dabei geht es nicht nur, aber unter anderem auch um das Neuaufstellen von wissenschaftlichem Arbeiten oder das Untersuchen von netzeigenen Phänomenen wie Hassrede, Desinformation oder Fake News.
