The Award Ceremony for the 4th edition of the IViR “Science Fiction & Information Law” Writing Competition was held on Thursday, 21 May, at CPDP in Brussels. A wonderful occasion to explore this edition’s theme, “The Technologised Future of Truth”, and honour the most valuable contributions.

Jitske is a junior researcher at the Institute for Information Law (IViR). She holds an LL.M. degree in International and European Union Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is currently completing her LL.M. degree in Dutch civil law at Radboud University Nijmegen. During her studies, she examined legal approaches to the emergence of online platforms, including perspectives from copyright and competition law.

Während technische Hürden zunehmend überwunden werden, zeichnet sich eine weitere Herausforderung ab: das langfristige Zusammenleben von Menschen unter extremen Bedingungen.
Obwohl gesunde zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen und der Teamzusammenhalt für den Missionserfolg entscheidend sind, fehlen bislang Langzeitdaten zur Entwicklung sozialer Interaktionen und zum Funktionieren von Teams in einer längeren Isolation.
