Christian González-Billault, profesor de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de Chile y director del Centro de Gerociencia, Salud Mental y Metabolismo (GERO), fue nombrado miembro asociado de EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organization), organismo creado hace más de 50 años en Europa que agrupa a los mejores investigadores del mundo en el área de la biología molecular y que registra 88 premios Nobel.
"Chile a Escala" se une a las consultas ciudadanas y a las videollamadas que ya dispone la iniciativa impulsada por ambas casas de estudio, y que ya suman la participación de más de 20 mil personas en 300 comunas del país. Esta nueva modalidad de participación, que se realizará entre junio y septiembre, busca reunir a 15 mil personas para conversar sobre el país que anhelan.
