If the world changes, the Internet and its technology/architecture may have to match those changes. It appears that level[ing] the playing field for new entrants or small players brings potential benefits. Are there technical solutions that are missing today?

Aktuelle gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen machen deutlich, wie wichtig historisches Wissen für das Geschichtsbewusstsein einer Gesellschaft ist. Wenn die historische Wissensvermittlung und der kritische Umgang mit vermeintlichen Fakten nicht bereits in der Schule gelehrt werden, dann füllen ggf. andere die entstehenden Leerstellen der Weltdeutung mit populistischen Antworten. Doch kann der Geschichtsunterricht diese Aufgabe noch leisten? Welcher Stellenwert kommt ihm in den Lehrplänen einzelner Bundesländer noch zu?
