No mês de julho, os coordenadores e professores dos Centros de Pesquisa da FGV Direito Rio promoveram encontros com o corpo discente do Programa de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu da Escola.
A iniciativa teve por objetivo apresentar os projetos de pesquisa desenvolvidos em cada centro, esclarecer as dúvidas dos discentes e divulgar as oportunidades de participação de mestrandos e doutorandos em atividades de pesquisa na FGV Direito Rio.

Seit gut fünf Monaten hat das neue Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 den Alltag der Menschen in Deutschland drastisch verändert. Sämtliche Maßnahmen, seine Ausbreitung einzudämmen, haben zu deutlichen Einschränkungen geführt, die das tägliche Leben und das Miteinander in erheblichem Ausmaß beeinträchtigen. Unter anderem haben die Bundesländer seit Mitte März 2020 Kindertagesstätten und Schulen geschlossen beziehungsweise nur einen deutlich reduzierten Betrieb zugelassen, um Infektionsketten zu unterbrechen und Neuansteckungen zu vermeiden.

Soapbox Science 2020 – Speaker’s Corner digital

Die Initiative "Soapbox Science" kommt – na klar - aus Großbritannien und verfolgt, - mit anderen Inhalten, ein ähnliches Modell wie Speaker's Corner: Wissenschaftlerinnen erklären ihre Forschung im öffentlichen Raum der interessierten Öffentlichkeit. 2011 wurde Soapbox Science das erste Mal veranstaltet, initiiert von zwei britischen Wissenschaftlerinnen. 2016 fand die erste internationale Veranstaltung in Brisbane, Australien, statt. Die erste deutsche Veranstaltung gab es 2017 in Berlin.

A ellos se suman la Camerata Vocal Universidad de Chile con un recorrido histórico y estilístico de la música inglesa, y el pianista nacional Mario Alarcón, en el ciclo que recorrió las 32 Sonatas de Beethoven.Un recorrido por varios siglos de música británica es el que iniciará una nueva semana en Ceac TV, con las voces de la Camerata Vocal de la Universidad de Chile, dirigida por el maestro Juan Pablo Villarroel.

Proyecto estudiará efectos de pandemia en alimentación y salud mental

El proyecto, encabezado por la académica del Instituto de Nutrición y Tecnología de los Alimentos (INTA), médico cirujano y doctora en nutrición Camila Corvalán, busca caracterizar las conductas de alimentación y salud mental de grupos de familias, en particular de aquellas personas que se encuentran en etapas críticas de la vida, y el impacto que ha tenido la pandemia en ellas, así como su posible impacto a largo plazo. Los resultados se entregarán en tres etapas: octubre 2020, enero 2021 y junio de 2021.Como una ventana de oportunidad.

U. de Chile creó robot que promueve la teleasistencia en pacientes

Pudú es un robot social desarrollado por un grupo interdisciplinario de la Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas (FCFM), el Hospital Clínico de la Universidad de Chile (HCUCH) y del Hospital San Juan de Dios, que permite la teleasistencia de pacientes y la comunicación con sus familiares mediante telepresencia profesional.
