„Die Künstliche Intelligenz wird in Zukunft in allen Lebensbereichen eine zentrale Rolle spielen“, so Prof. Dr. Klaus Pfeffer, Prorektor für Strategisches Management und Chancengerechtigkeit der HHU und einer der beiden  Sprecher der neuen Forschungsgruppe. Inzwischen sind sowohl die Technik als auch die Methoden der Künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) so weit fortgeschritten, dass man Anwendungen in vielen alltäglichen Bereichen findet. Prof. Pfeffer: „Es ist von entscheidender strategischer Bedeutung für unsere Universität, hier unsere Kräfte zu bündeln und weiter auszubauen.“

When we started Oscoin, our motivation was guided by the observation that crypto-currencies could enable a new form of community-owned and operated network. The invention of digital scarcity1 made it possible to economically incentivize and remunerate network participants for their service in a simple,transparent way, without mediation by a third-party.

Anlässe: der Geburtstag des Namensgebers der Universität am 13. Dezember und diesmal auch das 30. Jubiläum der Benennung der Universität nach dem großen Düsseldorfer Dichter, Publizisten und Journalisten. Rund 230 gültige Stimmen sind eingegangen.
