With around 200 million people voting across Europe, the make-up of the new European Parliament for the next five years has been decided.
While the centre-right European People’s Party (EPP) won the most seats, its contingent is down on the previous election. The traditional centre-left grouping of the Socialists and Democrats (S&D) – which I was a member of – has also been squeezed by the rise of populist parties. Anti-establishment parties won close to a third of seats, including the Brexit Party in the UK, and they head to Brussels to be destructive, not constructive.

Reflexionar y debatir participativamente acerca de los criterios y estándares institucionales dispuestos en Ley 21.091 sobre Educación Superior, fue el objetivo de una jornada en la que integrantes del cuerpo académico de la Casa de Bello se reunieron a revisar la propuesta del Consejo Nacional de Acreditación (CNA) en la materia. Dicho planteamiento para el aseguramiento de la calidad de las universidades se encuentra en proceso de consulta en las instituciones de educación superior.

Se trata de los cilios primarios, necesarios para reparar el corazón del daño que genera el infarto del miocardio. El hallazgo, publicado por la prestigiosa revista Circulation, fue realizado por los doctores Elisa Villalobos, Alfredo Criollo y Sergio Lavandero, investigadores del Centro Avanzado de Enfermedades Crónicas (ACCDiS), en conjunto con el grupo del Dr. Joseph A.

Añadir tecnología como herramienta clave en el proceso de aprendizaje para pregrado y postgrado es uno de los desafíos de la Casa de Bello para los próximos años, razón por la cual el plantel ya trabaja en una propuesta que evalúa la incorporación de cursos no presenciales para sus alumnos.

Yesterday, we were disappointed to learn that The North Face, an outdoor recreation product company, and Leo Burnett Tailor Made, an ad agency retained by The North Face, unethically manipulated Wikipedia. They have risked your trust in our mission for a short-lived marketing stunt.
In a video about the campaign, Leo Burnett and The North Face boasted that they “did what no one has done before … we switched the Wikipedia photos for ours” and “[paid] absolutely nothing just by collaborating with Wikipedia.”

Ontem, ficamos desapontados ao saber que The North Face, uma empresa de produtos para recreação ao ar livre, e a Leo Burnett Tailor Made, uma agência de publicidade contratada pela The North Face, manipularam de forma não ética a Wikipédia. Eles colocaram em risco sua confiança em nossa missão para um golpe de marketing de curta duração.
