Neueste Entwicklungen der Fluoreszenzmikroskopie erlauben es, einzelne Moleküle in Zellen oder Molekülkomplexen mit einer räumlichen Auflösung von bis zu 20 Nanometer abzubilden. Dabei tritt aber unter Umständen ein Effekt auf, der die Ergebnisse verfälscht: Das verwendete Laserlicht kann in der Probe sehr reaktive Sauerstoffmoleküle entstehen lassen. Diese können dann die eingesetzten Fluoreszenz-Farbstoffe so stark beschädigen, dass sie nicht mehr fluoreszieren. Unter Mikroskopie-Fachleuten ist dieser Effekt unter dem Namen Photobleaching bekannt.

Am Dienstag, den 9. März 2021, treten neue Passwortregeln des Rechenzentrums der Julius-Maximilians-Universität (JMU) Würzburg endgültig in Kraft. Bis dahin müssen die Passwörter sämtlicher JMU-Accounts angepasst sein: Mitarbeitende, Lehrende, Studierende, Gasthörerinnen und Gasthörer, Gäste sowie Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter kooperierender Einrichtungen (UKW, Lehrkrankenhäuser) und Funktionsaccounts.

As we announced in January, the Open Knowledge Foundation has been awarded funds from the Open Data Institute to improve the quality and interoperability of Frictionless Data. We are halfway through the process of reviewing our documentation and adding new features to Frictionless Data, and wanted to give a status update showing how this work is improving the overall Frictionless experience.

Se encuentra abierta la convocatoria para la segunda edición del proyecto GuIA: Inteligencia Artificial en América Latina y el Caribe, junto al Centro de Estudios en Tecnología y Sociedad (CETyS – UdeSA) y la plataforma fAlr LAC del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID).
