Nach der Begrüßung durch Dekanin Prof. Dr. Nicola Preuß hielt Dr. Werner Richter, Präsident des Oberlandesgerichtes Düsseldorf, den Festvortrag. Zunächst beglückwünschte er die anwesenden Absolventinnen und Absolventen: „Sie haben ein anspruchsvolles Studium gemeistert und unsere Rechtsordnung in all ihrer Komplexität kennen und – ganz sicher manchmal auch – fürchten gelernt. Sie haben nach und nach methodische Fähigkeiten entwickelt, Rechtsnormen ausgelegt und sich hierfür die rechtswissenschaftliche Literatur und die gerichtlichen Entscheidungen erschlossen.

Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer können, angeleitet von HHU-Biologen und von der Pflanzenillustratorin Katrin Saran, im Botanischen Garten auf Entdeckungstour gehen und die Natur erforschen. Jede Gruppe hat maximal acht Teilnehmer, so dass eine intensive Arbeit und Betreuung möglich ist. Die Workshops dauern jeweils 2 ½ Stunden.

The Working Paper examines ideas and images of the city in present right-wing discourses. At the review of more than 2.000 documents between 2015 and 2018, we were able to reconstruct recurring patterns in the description of (large) cities and urban life forms. On the one hand, the city is rejected by the right-wing authors, since it is interpreted as place of cultural decline, loss of control and unmanageability. On the other hand, it is appropriated whenever the 'real', orderly, safe and productive city remains visible behind the impositions of urban life.

Ursprünglich entstanden ist der Medizinerchor Düsseldorf (auch: Studierendenchor der Medizinischen Fakultät Düsseldorf e.V.) im Jahr 2012 anlässlich eines kurzen Auftritts bei der traditionellen Gedenkfeier für Angehörige von Körperspendern in der Medizinischen Fakultät. Aus dem einmaligen Auftritt ist aufgrund der gemeinsamen Begeisterung für das Singen ein Chor mit festen Probezeiten und Auftritten geworden. Heute fasst er unter der musikalischen Leitung von Maurus Hagemeister und Otto Lin etwa 100 Mitglieder.

Radhika's inputs primarily focused on - capacity and skilling for AI adoption in India, sectoral opportunities for the adoption of AI, regulation of explanations for AI, fairness and bias in AI models, and actionable recommendations for government priorites for AI policies in India.

Published by the European Union on June 26th, the revised directive on open data and the re-use of public sector information – or PSI Directive – set out an updated set of rules relating to public sector documents, publicly funded research data and “high-value” datasets which should be made available for free via application programming interfaces or APIs.

El evento, organizado por el PAR Explora RM Norte de la Universidad de Chile, reunió a estudiantes de ocho colegios y tuvo como propósito acercar la ciencia a niños y niñas a través del sol y los eclipses.
