Der Bachelorstudiengang Naturwissenschaften startet neu an der Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät und reiht sich ein in das bestehende, interdisziplinär ausgerichtete Angebot, das neben den „klassischen“ Fächern die fachübergreifenden Bachelorstudiengänge Biochemie, Medizinische Physik und Wirtschaftschemie umfasst.

Die Studiendekanin der Medizinischen Fakultät, Prof. Dr. Stefanie Ritz-Timme, verlieh im Rahmen der Veranstaltungsreihe „Medizinstudium 2013/2020“ am 6. Juni die drei mit je 5.000 Euro dotierten Preise. Vorgeschlagen werden die Preisträger ausschließlich von den Studierenden der Fakultät. Das Preisgeld wird zur weiteren Verbesserung der Lehre verwendet.

Mit einem 3D-Drucker werden die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer einige Gegenstände herstellen, die für die Landung benötigt werden. Dabei wird ihnen gezeigt, wie bestimmte Programme benutzt werden können, um die Teile anzufertigen. Nach einer geglückten Landung soll dann der Abschluss der Mathe-Akademie gebührend mit einer Mathe-Torte gefeiert werden. Während der Feier werden Zertifikate, Urkunden und Buchgeschenke vergeben. Die Veranstaltungen finden vom 20. bis 24. August jeweils ab 10:30 Uhr im Hörsaal 5K im Gebäude 25.31 statt, die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.
