Mathe-Akademie an der HHU für Schülerinnen und Schüler – Anmeldungen bis 9. August möglich

Die Schülerinnen und Schüler, die in diesem Jahr bei der Mathe-Akademie der HHU mitmachen, werden danach mit anderen Augen durch Museen, Kirchen und Paläste gehen: Anhand der in der Alhambra im spanischen Granada zu findenden maurischen Ornamente werden die Düsseldorfer Dozenten  die Grundlagen der mathematischen Gruppentheorie erklären.
Prof. Dr. Oleg Bogopolski, Organisator der Veranstaltung, ergänzt: „Neben diesem Schwerpunkt lernen die Akademieteilnehmer eine mathematische Bibliothek kennen und erfahren in einem Film mehr über die Denkweise moderner Mathematiker.“

J!Cast: Chancen und Herausforderungen von DLT (Blockchain) in Mobilität und Logistik

In diesem neuen Podcast der ITM-Reihe J!Cast stellt Elisaweta Rabovskaja (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin) einige zentrale Erkenntnisse des von FIT Fraunhofer im Auftrag des BMVI erstellten Gutachtens „Chancen und Herausforderungen von DLT (Blockchain) in Mobilität und Logistik“ vor. Neben einer Darstellung der technischen Grundlagen und ökonomischen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten der Technologie geht sie schwerpunktmäßig auf rechtliche Fragestellungen ein.

It started as an event with a few hundred experts, but has become a major conference, with nearly 3000 participants in 2019.
