Collaboration is a basic element for Internet development. Without it, connections among networks would be non-existent and the Internet wouldn’t have its global reach. Without it, the Internet wouldn’t exist as we know it. Fortunately, there are many groups that use collaboration and other elements of the Internet networking model.

On 28 August 2019, an international media law conference took place in the University of Akureyri (Háskólinn á Akureyri) that is one of partner universities of the University of Muenster. Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren from the ITM organized this conference.
Vom 6 bis 8. September 2019 fand wieder das alljährliche Doktorandenseminar des ITM statt. Unter der Aufsicht von Professor Dr. Thomas Hoeren trafen sich 20 Doktoranden und Doktoranden aus ganz Deutschland in Gemeindehaus in Canum/Ostfriesland. Herr Hoeren gab eine breite Übersicht über die hermeneutischen Grundlagen des Promovierens, insbesondere bei der Akzentsetzungen von Metatheorien und der Suche nach einem eigenen Vorverständnis des jeweiligen Themas.
