Der UNICHOR bringt in diesem Winter mit seinem Programm "neugeboren" einige der schönsten volkstümlichen Weihnachtslieder zur Aufführung, von denen jeweils eine alte sowie eine neue Vertonung gesungen wird. Es erklingen u. a. Werke für Chor und Orgel von Pachelbel, Kodály, Gjeilo, Bach, Buxtehude, Rheinberger und Pärt.
In ihrem Grußwort zu Beginn der Veranstaltung würdigte Prof. Dr. Andrea von Hülsen-Esch, Prorektorin für Internationales der HHU, die Veranstaltung als Beispiel für die besonderen Beziehungen der HHU zu Russland.
Prof. Fieseler eröffnete die Diskussion mit dem Verweis auf das Ziel der Bolschewiki, den ersten Staat sozialistischer Prägung zu errichten, eine Weltrevolution zu starten und den Neuen Menschen zu formen. Die Umsetzung dieses Vorhabens war gekennzeichnet von hoher Gewalt und Zerstörung.
