Dos esculturas y dos fotografías del artista y profesor del Departamento de Artes Visuales de la Facultad de Artes, forman parte de "Reconsiderando el monumento", muestra curada por Miguel Cereceda, profesor de Estética en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, crítico de arte y experto en la materia, que reúne las piezas de 20 artistas hispanoamericanos.

Die ersten Tage waren schon ein voller Erfolg: Am Sonntag, 23. Juni 201, war das Teddybärkrankenhaus für jedermann offen. Ohne Anmeldung und natürlich kostenlos konnten alle Kinder mit ihren Kuscheltieren vorbeikommen. Trotz der hohen Temperaturen ein voller Erfolg: Mehr als 800 Kinder kamen mit ihren Eltern. Mit dabei auch Oberbürgermeister Thomas Geisel: "Ich bin wirklich begeistert und beeindruckt von dieser tollen Veranstaltung und dem Engagement der Medizinstudierenden und Auszubildenden an der Uniklinik Düsseldorf und der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf."

Das im Jahr 2018 eingerichtete Stipendienprogramm richtet sich nach den Prüfungsergebnissen in den vier Grundmodulen: Analysis I, Experimentelle Mechanik, Mathematische Methoden I und Optik. Als Anerkennung für ihre ausgezeichneten Leistungen erhalten die zwei Studentinnen und drei Studenten ein Jahr lang ein monatliches Stipendium in Höhe von € 200.

An der HHU wird diese von Prof. Dr. Wolfram Trudo Knoefel geleitet, der auch Vorsitzender des Universitätssenats ist. Um 15:00 Uhr eröffnet Guido Kerkhoff (Chief Executive Officer der thyssenkrupp AG) das Jahrestreffen mit seinem Vortrag im Rahmen der 2. Düsseldorfer Schmalenbach-Lecture ‚Protektionismus, Populismus und Ablehnung supranationaler Institutionen – Reflexionen aus einem multinationalen Unternehmen‘.
Un nuevo sistema eléctrico y de climatización, además de un trabajo de restauración de su infraestructura y piezas patrimoniales -incluyendo el escudo fabricado por el escultor Nicanor Plaza-, forman parte de las obras ejecutadas desde enero de este año en uno de los espacios universitarios más significativos de nuestro plantel, concluidos recientemente. Gracias a este proceso interdisciplinario, hoy este espacio tradicional y patrimonial de nuestro plantel garantiza un uso óptimo por al menos un siglo de vida más.
Por su relevante trabajo en dicho campo, tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional, el abogado recibió la máxima condecoración que la Casa de Bello otorga a sus egresadas y egresados. En la instancia, además, se concretó formalmente la donación de acervo bibliográfico al Archivo Central Andrés Bello de nuestro plantel.Con aplausos y ovaciones fue recibido Roberto Garretón a su ingreso a la Sala Eloísa Díaz, para recibir la Medalla Rectoral de la Universidad de Chile por su destacada trayectoria como abogado en materia de Derechos Humanos.
