Sebastian VeldhuisThe 3rd Vienna Workshop on Economic Forecasting took place on June 5 and 6, 2025 at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna. It was organized jointly by Robert Kunst (IHS), Ulrike Schneider (TU Wien), Leopold Sögner (IHS) und Martin Wagner (AAU Klagenfurt). The workshop brought together some 60 participants from four continents for an intensive exchange.

On June 13, 2025, the Carinthian Academic Championships in Padel Tennis took place on the padel tennis courts of Sportunion Klagenfurt. 15 teams competed for the title.
Die Augen der Insekten sind in der Regel empfindlich für ultraviolettes, blaues und grünes Licht. Die Farbe Rot können sie – mit Ausnahme einiger Schmetterlinge – nicht sehen. Trotzdem fliegen Biene & Co. auch auf rote Blüten wie die des Klatschmohns. Angelockt werden sie in diesem Fall aber nicht von der roten Farbe, sondern weil sie das von der Mohnblüte reflektierte UV-Licht erkennen.
