Prof. Xue presented at UNCITRAL DE Expert Group Meeting

On 8-9 March 2021, at 11am to 2pm CET, Expert Group Meeting (EGM) was held to discuss the digital economy project. The EGM focused on 2 themes, i.e. (a) a legal taxonomy on emerging technologies used in digital trade, in particular a new section of the taxonomy on online platforms; and (b) a proposal for future legislative work by UNCITRAL on the use of artificial intelligence and automation in contracting (including “smart contracts”).

Este 2021 nos hará retomar nuestras rutinas en medio de una pandemia que continúa. Por esto, académicos de la U. de Chile entregan consejos para enfrentar este proceso de mejor manera, quienes afirman que la clave es retomar rutinas de manera paulatina.

We are excited to announced the launch of the DSL HARBINGER LECTURE SERIES. The DSL Harbinger aims to bring leading intellectuals to our community of students and faculty, to lecture on the social implications of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), and their role in shaping our political and social future.
 
 
The first DSL Harbinger will be presented on March 12th, 2021 by Dr. Martin Husovec, on the topic “Europe’s Digital Future: Challenges of the Digital Services Act”.
