From 1 October 2025, employees of the University of Klagenfurt will be able to collect points with the ummadum app. As part of an EMAS initiative, the University will reward its employees for choosing sustainable mobility – i.e., riding a bike/scooter, public transport, ridesharing or walking – with up to 15 euros per month. Für ihre Studie haben Forschende der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU) gemeinsam mit der Bayerischen Landesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Bioland 29 Sonnenblumenfelder in Nordbayern analysiert – 15 ökologisch und 14 konventionell bewirtschaftet. Sie wollten wissen, welche Faktoren wildlebende Bestäuber beeinflussen und wie sich das auf die landwirtschaftlichen Erträge auswirkt. Dabei berücksichtigten sie sowohl die Bedingungen in einzelnen Feldern als auch die Struktur der umliegenden Landschaft.
