Bajo el lema "La expresión de la diferencia", entre el 14 y el 18 de mayo se realizará una nueva edición de este evento convocado por la UNESCO, en el que la Casa de Bello participa desde el 2013 como parte de su comité ejecutivo. Conciertos didácticos, talleres de cine, y obras de teatro son sólo parte de la oferta programática de la U. de Chile para esta celebración. “Sensibilizar a la comunidad internacional sobre la importancia de la educación artística y promover la diversidad cultural, el diálogo intercultural y la cohesión social”.
Con el 63,5 por ciento de las preferencias, el profesor Ennio Vivaldi se impuso al decano Patricio Aceituno, quien alcanzó un 36,50 por ciento de los votos ponderados. La jornada electoral estuvo marcada por una alta asistencia de académicos y académicas que concurrieron a las urnas. Según los resultados finales, un 57,64 por ciento del padrón electoral del plantel votó en los comicios, superando los 2 mil electores.
Después de doce años, este 10 de mayo las votaciones para elegir a la máxima autoridad de nuestro plantel volvieron a realizarse en la Casa Central, y la alta asistencia de los académicos y académicas para ejercer su derecho a voto ha sido constante desde primera hora de la mañana. Los candidatos a liderar la Casa de Bello, Ennio Vivaldi y Patricio Aceituno, sufragaron cerca de las 10:00 horas y se espera la llegada de votantes hasta el cierre de las urnas, fijado a las 16:00 horas.
Ante la presencia de autoridades políticas y gremiales, este miércoles 9 de abril una comisión conformada por expertos de la Escuela de Salud Pública de nuestro plantel y del Colegio Médico, dieron a conocer una propuesta para el financiamiento de la salud en Chile, que tiene por propósito acabar con la actual estructura basada en un bajo gasto público y un alto gasto de las personas.
