Drei Ausgezeichnete wurden von einem Komitee aus Vertretungen aller Statusgruppen sowie der Koordinierungsstelle Diversity in geheimer Wahl bestimmt: Laura Garcia Calderón, Tobias Koch und Damon Mohebbi widmen sich besonders engagiert dem Thema Diversity und füllen somit den Grundsatz der HHU, „Exzellenz durch Vielfalt“ mit Leben. Am 4. Juni wurde der Preis im kleinen Rahmen verliehen.
