On November 6th-7th, 2024, the International Institute of Communications (IIC) held its 55th Annual Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. This followed the International Regulators Forum on November 4th-5th, 2024, and the IIC Small Nations Regulators Forum on the afternoon of November 5th, 2024. The Annual Conference brought together senior industry representatives, regulators, academics, and other stakeholders from the telecom, media, and technology sectors to discuss the critical issues facing the industry.

Gleich zwei neue Modelle wurden erfolgreich trainiert: das LLäMmlein 120M und das leistungsstärkere LLäMmlein 1B mit über einer Milliarde Parametern. Ein Novum stellt dar, dass dies ausschließlich auf Deutsch geschah.
Am 15. November 2024 werden die Modelle der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht.

The quality of batteries affects many aspects of our daily lives: Will we arrive at our holiday destination in our electric car? Can we be reached on our smartphones? Does the hearing aid still have plenty of power late at night? Mohamed El Bahnasawi is working on making batteries smarter and more efficient as part of the EU Horizon Europe project ‘Battery Cell Assembly Twin (BatCAT)’. The aim is to use artificial intelligence to learn more about the processes in the batteries in order to be able to use them more efficiently in the future.
