Detroit Piston's fans did not have to view the NBA lottery from 2025 with almost as fascinating as in the last seasons on Monday.
Five in a row as a lottery team and three consecutive years in which number 5 was chosen, although it was the positioning of the position, it left a rather acidic taste.
Now the young squad of the piston has a playoff appearance and with her first choice in the first round in 17th place on the Minnesota Timberwolves, the lottery did not have the lottery directly on the pistons.
However, there are some results that are made for Detroit.
Mavericks win lottery and Cooper Flagg
In a shock, but somehow poetic turn of events, the Dallas Mavericks jumped from the eleven best chances to the winning of the lottery and the overall selection of number 1.
After the Mavericks Luka Dončić shipped in a league-shaking trade, you will probably bring in the alleged No. 1 selection to Cooper Flag.
This is certainly large for the franchise, but for the pistons it is a pretty good result that a potential superstar goes to the Western conference.
Three of the top 5 picks in the draft currently belong to the Western Conference teams.
Bulls remain
The only team in the central division that took part in the lottery were the Chicago Bulls.
Since the other four teams do the playoffs in the division-and the bulls that play the game-there is certainly not much interested in a top-draft pick that will fight next year.
Fortunately, the bulls landed number 12 as a whole, just like the chances that they had gone into the evening.
There is still a lot of value to have. The bulls found Matas Buzelis 11th place last year and became a solid participant in his first season.
But the bulls that remain of the top 10 will play for the pistons.
76 record the upper choice
The turbulent season of the Philadelphia 76ers could have been worse if the lottery had been unfavorable for them.
A trade in 2020 with the Oklahoma City Thunder protected the first choice of the 76 this year. Everything outside the Top-6 would have gone to the team with the best record in the NBA.
The 76 not only ended up in the top 6, they also rose to the third overall selection after they had entered the night with the best chances of the night.
While the thunder is even richer in the design, it may not be ideal in the league to keep another enemy of the Eastern Conference in a sad state, the piston could have been good news.
There are still quite a few questions in Philadelphia, but at the moment the pistons know that there is a star level player who will probably go to the 76s next season.
