El sostenido aumento del desempleo, de los ocupados ausentes, pero también de quienes ya no buscan empleo debido a la pandemia -sobre todo mujeres que han debido asumir tareas domésticas o de cuidado-, son algunas de las aristas que la directora del Centro de Microdatos, Lorena Flores, y el profesor de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Miguel Urrutia, desglosaron a partir del informe emitido por el INE el 30 de junio pasado.

La movilidad se redujo en un 31,2 por ciento, después de un peak en abril vinculado a los mensajes de "nueva normalidad". El estudio realizado por la Universidad de Chile y el Colegio Médico, revela que el 33 por ciento de los encuestados aún se mantiene yendo a trabajar, de los cuales un tercio utiliza el transporte público, situación que se da principalmente en las personas de menor nivel educacional, lo que refleja la mayor precariedad laboral que enfrentan.
