13 June 2022, San Francisco — The Wikimedia Foundation today announced the appointment of Selena Deckelmann as Chief Product and Technology Officer. Selena is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Mozilla, where she was responsible for Firefox. She will officially join on August 1, 2022.

On 6 June 2022, the Wikimedia Foundation filed an appeal to challenge a Moscow Court’s decision that the Foundation committed an administrative offense by failing to remove “prohibited” information on Wikipedia, largely related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In its appeal, the Wikimedia Foundation argues that information on Wikipedia should be protected by freedom of expression and does not constitute disinformation, as found by the Court.

2022年6月11日，北京市法学会电子商务法治研究会第二次会员大会暨第九届电子商务法治高峰论坛在隆重举行。 在与会嘉宾见证下，会议审议通过了《北京市法学会电子商务法治研究会第一届理事会工作报告》《北京市法学会电子商务法治研究会组织规则(修改草案)》《北京市法学会电子商务法治研究会第二次会员大会选举办法(草案)》，并经过严格的监票、计票程序后，会议选举产生了北京市法学会电子商务法治研究会全体会员、理事选举产生了新一届组织机构。北京工商大学法学院吕来明教授当选为会长，薛虹教授等11名专家学者当选为副会长。
高峰论坛与会专家围绕“平台经济治理法治化的实现机制”这一主题展开深入讨论。专家指出，在稳定经济、恢复市场的过程中，平台经济和平台生态起到了重要的支撑作用，但也出现了不少新问题，需要相关机构在平台经济治理和消费者权益保护方面对相关政策、措施及法律法规等进行创新探索。
薛虹教授在“平台经济治理的新问题与国际化制度建设”的主题下，以《平台经济国际法律规则的构建与发展》为题发表主题演讲。

Open Knowledge Foundation is excited to announce the list of organisations who have been awarded small grants to help them host Open Data Day events and activities across the world.
We received 296 small grants application this year and were greatly impressed by the quality of the event proposals.
This year we are supporting 14 events; 10 open data events and 4 events for the “Ocean data for a thriving planet” category.
I discuss here two illustrative cases of paradoxical puzzles in cybersecurity:
1) To reduce failures, aim at having some failures;
2) To get better international cybersecurity, have fewer rules and limit prosecutorial-type enforcement.
