In this role, we are responsible for hosting and protecting Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. We do not have an editorial role on Wikipedia. Rather, all of the information you read on Wikipedia is created and curated by hundreds of thousands of volunteers around the world.
For over almost 25 years, Wikipedia has grown to become the backbone of knowledge on the internet. What started as a wildly ambitious and probably impossible dream is now an essential knowledge resource for humanity. It includes over 65 million articles in over 300 languages, all funded by readers like you.

Using the Investopedia simulator and a virtual seed capital of 1 million USD, the students had to compile a portfolio and deal with securities over a period from mid-April to the beginning of September 2025.
