Responsible AI Experimentation in Africa: Highlights from the AI Sandboxes Co-Creation Lab, Kigali

On April 2, 2025, the Datasphere Initiative kicked off its AI Sandboxes Co-Creation Lab series in Kigali, Rwanda, ahead of the inaugural Global AI Summit on Africa. Held at Westerwelle Startup Haus Kigali, the session convened 17 participants from government, private sector, academia, development organisations and civil society to explore how sandboxes can serve as agile governance tools for advancing responsible AI across the continent.

Carinthian Academic Championships – Table Tennis 2025

This year’s Carinthian Academic Table Tennis Championships took place as usual on 23.04.2025 at the Sportpark Klagenfurt. The winners in the women’s and men’s singles and doubles competitions were determined in great competition conditions. The women’s singles and doubles competitions were played in a knockout system. The men’s singles was played in 4 groups, with the first and second-placed players in each group advancing to the quarter-finals.
