How can governments turn commitments to participation, innovation and reform into improvements that citizens experience in their everyday lives?
This question connected several discussions that interested Dr Monique Bennett, Policy Dialogue Manager at Policy Innovation Lab, during a recent OECD forum.

Thando Ndita from Stellenbosch University’s Policy Innovation Lab was invited to participate in the Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers New York programme in September 2026 as a funded attendee. The programme brought together individuals working across AI, digital transformation, public health and development, providing an opportunity to build relationships with people doing similar or related work across Africa.

As Europe prepares to showcase 91 AI pilots at the upcoming EUSAiR closing event, one major question remains: where do national AI regulatory sandboxes actually stand under the EU AI Act? To find out, I examined publicly available records and national authority data across Europe. Here is what the landscape looks like today.

Phukan an der Tezpur-Universität in Indien, dass sie eine Methode zur Herstellung und Isolierung einer Reihe überraschend stabiler Oxoborane entdeckt haben. Damit ist eine Herausforderung gelöst, die seit über 60 Jahren bestand.

Members of the Goalkeepers South Africa community gathered in Stellenbosch on 22 and 23 October 2026 for a focused work and mentoring session towards a Media Showcase, designed to strengthen how members communicate the issues behind their work and reach wider audiences while championing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hosted by the Policy Innovation Lab and the SDG/2063 Impact Hub (SU International) in partnership with Jive Media Africa, the two-day workshop moved participants from project descriptions toward compelling, evidence-based public narratives.
