73 civil society organizations, including SMEX, have urged Meta to reverse its decision to censor electronic content containing the term “Zionist” and its designation as hate speech. Additionally, Action Network started an open petition demanding Meta to stop its suppression of Palestinians’ right to freely talk about “Zionism” without fear of retaliation from a political ideology affecting their survival.
