New learning & working spaces at the University Library
Thanks to the great initiative of CULT (Centre for University Learning & Teaching), we were able to greatly expand our range of bookable workspaces in the summer:
In addition to our two groupwork rooms for larger teams, our users can now also book 4 Smart Boxes for concentrated work in small groups or alone, for focussed reading and work, for online meetings and much more, or use them freely if available.

Die sogenannten „Omics“-Technologien – Genomik, Transkriptomik, Proteomik und Metabolomik – spielen in der modernen Pflanzenwissenschaft und Systembiologie eine entscheidende Rolle, wenn es darum geht, neue Erkenntnisse zu gewinnen. Im Gegensatz zu dem eher „statischen“ Genom sind das Metabolom und die darin gemessenen Produkte allerdings sehr dynamisch. Metabolom: Darunter versteht die Wissenschaft die Gesamtheit aller kleinen Moleküle, auch Metaboliten genannt, in einer biologischen Zelle, einem Gewebe oder einem Organismus.
