Im Juli 2020 wurde über die Anträge der zweiten Ausschreibungsrunde zum Aufbau der „European Universities“ entschieden. Ziel der Initiative ist es, eine neue wissenschaftliche Generation in Europa zusammenzubringen, die in der Lage ist, über Sprachen, Grenzen und Disziplinen hinweg zusammenzuarbeiten, um gesellschaftlichen Herausforderungen und Qualifikationsdefiziten zu begegnen.
Zugegeben, wir alle sind genervt von den vielen Passwörtern, PINs oder Zugangskennungen, die wir für die zahlreichen Dienste im Internet inzwischen brauchen. Doch Vorsicht! Es ist keine Lösung, für alles immer die gleiche Kombination von Benutzerkennung und Passwort zu nehmen. Auch wenn es bequem wäre, sich nur eine Kombination merken zu müssen. „Wird allerdings eines der Dienste gehackt und das Passwort gestohlen, wird es ernst. Bei vielen ist zudem die Nutzerkennung zugleich die persönliche E-Mail-Adresse, die Hackern damit auch bekannt wird.
