Zum Thema Regieren in Vielfachkrisen findet am 2. Mai von 12-13 Uhr das Online-Panel „Regieren der Berliner Ampel in Vielfachkrisen“ via Zoom statt. In der Panel-Diskussion werden aktuelle Fragen der Politikwissenschaft in Zeiten der Krise diskutiert. Die Teilnehmer:innen werfen einen Blick aus ihren jeweiligen Forschungsperspektiven auf die Thematik – Kristina Weißenbach (Parteienforschung), Karl-Rudolf Korte (Regierungsforschung), Andreas Blätte (Policy-Forschung), Christoph Bieber (Digitalisierungsforschung) und ordnen die Aktivitäten der Ampel-Koalition ein.

Im Radio-Interview mit dem Deutschlandfunk am 26.04.2022 spricht Christoph Bieber über die geplante Übernahme von Twitter durch Elon Musk. Twitter als Forum digitaler Kommunikation gilt als “gefühlte Öffentlichkeit”, ist aber ein kommerzieller Kommunikationsraum. Das wird gerade im Prozess der Übernahme durch Elon Musk sichtbar. Alternativen zu Twitter und Kritik an der Plattform und ihrer Politik sind längst bekannt, werden nun aber noch einmal deutlich. Welche Folgen die Übernahme hat, sind derzeit jedoch noch nicht abzuschätzen.

Am 22. April startete das Seminar „Subjektivität und Digitalität“ von Jana Baum an der Universität Leipzig. Bei diesem Seminar handelt es sich um einen Versuch, die theoretische und praktische Philosophie Kants auf Fragen und Phänomene der Digitalität anzuwenden. Neben Studierenden der Philosophie nehmen auch Studierende der Digitial Humanities und (Medien-)Informatik teil.

Unter dem Titel „Wait, did I do that? Effects of previous decisions on moral decision-making“ wurde am 15.03.2022 im Journal of Behavioral Decision Making ein Forschungsartikel zum Thema „Einfluss von vorherigen Entscheidungen auf moralische Entscheidungsfindung“ von Niklas Frechen, mit Unterstützung durch Susanne Brouwer (Centre for Language Studies/Radboud-Universität, Nijmegen, Niederlande), veröffentlicht.

薛虹教授受邀就数字版权贸易发表主题演讲。薛教授指出，著作权法修订后给予符合作品条件的短视频视听作品的法律保护，更要求短视频行业依法承担内容行业经营者的法律义务。与短视、江湖、业余的短视频发布不同，成熟的经营者应当就使用他人作品的经营成本予以预算，并合理预估相应的经营风险，其中涉及有法律依据的合理正当使用，应使用网络技术有效地指明出处。数字贸易的发展为重构传统的版权许可提供了高效全新的技术支持、交易条件与贸易环境。数字版权贸易具有网络性、定制性、长尾性、衍生型、即时性、片段性、自动性等不同于版权许可的突出特征。曾经被冷落、被诟病的DRM系统在数字贸易的新环境下焕发出新的强大的生机与活力，为版权许可开辟出新的市场与价值链，区块链等技术的应用更增添了交易的安全性与可靠性。
