Bienen gehören zu den wichtigsten Bestäubern der Erde. Sie bestäuben nicht nur Pflanzen mit schönen Blüten, sondern auch viele Nutzpflanzen. Doch trotz der großen Bedeutung der Insekten für Mensch und Natur geht ihre Population zurück. In der Forschung werden dabei verschiedene mögliche Ursachen genannt, auch Pestizide. Diesen Faktor hat nun ein internationales Forschungsteam mit Beteiligung der Julius-Maximilians-Universität (JMU) Würzburg in einer Studie untersucht. Dabei stellte es fest: Pestizide sind vermutlich ein wichtiger Faktor, der die Fortpflanzung von Bienen beeinflusst.

Tactical Media Room is a temporary coordination group in Amsterdam supporting independent media in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia, made possible by various organizations working in the tech sector, arts and culture, education, and research.
