New study | The European Media Freedom Act: media freedom, freedom of expression and pluralism

In this study, commissioned by the LIBE Committee of the European Parliament, the CMPF research team undertakes an analysis of the European Media Freedom Act proposal.

The study offers a comprehensive examination of both the political and historical context surrounding EU policies related to media and the broader information society. It also takes into consideration the ongoing debate concerning EU competencies in the realms of media pluralism and media freedom.

Lançamos hoje o relatório “Tendências latino-americanas no enfrentamento à desinformação: iniciativas na Argentina, Brasil, Chile e Colômbia”.

O trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa que mapeou 30 instrumentos e iniciativas, propostos pelo legislativo, executivo e tribunais eleitorais, que buscam desenhar um arcabouço normativo para o enfrentamento à desinformação na Argentina, Brasil, Chile e Colômbia. O objetivo da pesquisa é contribuir com uma leitura latino-americana para a discussão e o enfrentamento da desinformação.
