"Botar la basura", es un concepto muy distinto al de "gestionar nuestros residuos", sotiene Hernan Innsen, fundador, accionista principal y Gerente General HOPE, empresa especialista en asesoría, gestión, valorización y planes de manejo de residuos sólidos. Aquí te contamos la historia de este bachiller e ingeniero en Recursos Naturales Renovables de la U. de Chile y cómo a través de su emprendimiento ha podido ampliar la actividad del reciclaje en nuestro país.
Los pasos para la implementación completa de un centro que fabrique y exporte medicamentos y vacunas en nuestro país, fueron parte de la conversación que sostuvo la máxima autoridad con el medio periodístico, espacio donde destacó los proyectos que la U. de Chile está liderando en el Parque Laguna Carén que van en esta misma línea. Durante las últimas semanas, equipos de nuestro plantel han sostenido conversaciones con centros productores y también industriales en Chile, Argentina y Brasil.
La Dra. Graciela Rojas fue galardonada por la entidad gremial en reconocimiento a su vasta carrera docente, dedicada a la formación de futuros médicos y a la transmisión de valores como la vocación de servicio. El organismo además distinguió a otras tres médicas egresadas de la U. de Chile con el Premio Dra.
Investigadores de la Universidad de Chile pertenecientes al Centro de Modelamiento Matemático (CMM), al Centro de Ciencia del Clima y la Resiliencia (CR)2, y al Centro de Regulación del Genoma (CRG) son parte de esta expedición internacional que investigará los efectos del cambio climático en nuestro océano de manera transdisciplinaria.La Fundación francesa TARA Ocean, en colaboración con un consorcio de 36 instituciones internacionales y 9 instituciones chilenas -entre las que se encuentra la U.
"Nuevas miradas sobre género y etnicidad", "Arte y espacio público", "La Constitución en debate" y "Cómo envejecemos: una mirada transdisciplinaria" son parte de la parrilla programática del primer semestre del año 2021 de esta plataforma académica abierta a todo público.Este primer semestre, UAbierta inicia el día 23 de marzo la sexta edición del curso “Nuevas miradas sobre género y etnicidad”, curso que busca reflexionar, conocer y develar los procesos de discriminación, segregación e invisibilización que experimentan las mujeres indígena

Interested in learning more about autoethnographic methods? RMIT’s Digital Ethnography Research Centre and Roskilde University in Denmark are collaborating to offer a PhD symposium and course in June 2021. Professor Annette Markham will give an opening keynote at the symposium and then lead the course. Lisbeth Frølunde will be the primary coordinator and also a primary lecturer for this course. This annual event is well regarded in the Nordic context and this year, we branch out to Australia with a hybrid version.

Growing up, my friend had a Nintendo Entertainment System knock-off called Pegasus. I think it was only sold in Eastern Europe in the 1990s. I spent a few summers in her attic, playing a variety of side-scrolling and vertical-scrolling pixelated games. It was fun to see each other get better at different levels and challenges, but we never took it seriously and would often move on to other ways of filling our lazy summer days.

Um Kinder und Jugendliche für das Thema Quantenphysik zu begeistern, entwickelt die Forschungsallianz ein unterhaltsames Mobile Game, das weltweit zum Einsatz kommen wird. In Anlehnung an ein populäres Gedankenexperiment der Quantenmechanik von Erwin Schrödinger begleiten die Spieler:innen „ihre“ Katze durch eine verrückte Quantenwelt und lösen dabei attraktive Denksporträtsel.
