Researchers at Stellenbosch University’s Policy Innovation Lab have co-authored a practical playbook to help governments test digital public infrastructure (DPI) safely before implementing it at scale.

Through the Policy Innovation Lab, Stellenbosch University’s School for Data Science and Computational Thinking is offering a new short course, Fundamentals of Large Language Models, designed to give students from non-STEM backgrounds a practical understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) are built, deployed and evaluated.

These initiatives are mostly influenced by international legislative trends, particularly in Europe and Australia, and are driven by reasonable concerns about children’s exposure to online exploitation, cyberbullying, dangerous content, excessive platform use, and the wider impact of digital technologies on their well-being.

Damit lässt sich der sichere Umgang mit Laserstrahlung in der Praxis erlernen.
