Das Hörzentrum ist spezialisiert auf die Implantation von Cochlea Implantaten: Seit der Zentrumsgründung im Jahr 2007 wurden bereits über 600 der hochpräzisen Implantate operativ in die Hörschnecke (lat. Cochlea) des Innenohrs eingesetzt. Pro Jahr bekommen rund 80  Patientinnen und Patienten jeden Alters ein solches Implantat. „Eine Hörstörung kann die Lebensqualität in allen Lebensbereichen enorm einschränken und auch zu einem sozialen Rückzug der Betroffenen führen“, betont Klenzner. Individuell entwickelt das Team Therapiemöglichkeiten für jeden einzelnen Patienten.
