Over 70 organisations and close to 500 individuals have formed MyData Global, a nonprofit to promote the ethical use of personal data and to strengthen digital human rights. On 15 November 2018, over 130 members participated in the first general meeting of the organisation, which elected its first board of directors from among 24 candidates. The board combines a diverse mix of backgrounds and expertise and includes seven members from seven different countries. The elected board members are:

El abordaje del trauma y el riesgo suicida en adolescentes, fueron las principales temáticas abordadas en las jornadas de capacitación, realizadas por investigadores del Núcleo Milenio para Mejorar la Salud Mental de Adolescentes y Jóvenes (Imhay), en Santiago y Arica.

Entre mayo de 2017 y noviembre de 2018, el Teatro Nacional Chileno (TNCH) presentó más de 70 actividades programadas por su director artístico, Ramón Griffero. Durante este período se triplicó la asistencia de público en comparación al año anterior.

Connecting the most remote and challenging territories of any country to the Internet can be tough. Typically, Internet access spreads gradually from urban conglomerations towards smaller hubs, and finally, to the most remote and sparsely populated areas. This is just common business sense.

On April 4, 2018, the Canadian Multistakeholder Process: Enhancing Internet of Things (IoT) Security held its first convening in partnership with the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA); CANARIE; Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada; and the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPIC).

Gemeinsame Pressemitteilung des Universitätsklinikums Düsseldorf (UKD), der Vereinten Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft (ver.di) und des dbb beamtenbund und tarifunion (dbb): Im Auftaktgespräch der Vereinten Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft (ver.di) und dem dbb beamtembund und tarifunion (dbb), der für seine Fachgewerkschaft vdla verhandelt, sowie den Geschäftsführern der drei Tochtergesellschaften des Universitätsklinikums Düsseldorf sind sich die Tarifvertragsparteien am 10. Dezember 2018 darüber einig geworden, einen einheitlichen Tarifvertrag mit einer angemessenen Aufwertung zu vereinbaren.

Herr Toshihiro Wada, Doktorand und wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft am ITM, redet über das japanische Datenschutzrecht im Rahmen des weihnachtlichen Seminarprojekts an der TU Dortmund. Im Seminar „Social Media und Recht“, das Prof. Dr. Tobias Gostomzyk veranstaltet, wurde ein Adventskalender „gebastelt“. Ziel ist es, nochmals auf wichtige Publikationen zum Medien- und/oder Internetrecht einzugehen, die 2018 erschienen sind. Vom ITM zählen die Seminarteilnehmerinnen und -teilnehmer den Aufsatz „Datenschutz in Japan“ aus der „Zeitschrift für Datenschutz“ dazu, den Prof. Dr.
