What does open access to knowledge mean to you?
That was the question we posed to entrants in the Heart of Knowledge contest, an international arts competition the Wikimedia Foundation launched this April. We were blown away by the submissions we received from artists and writers across five continents. According to entrants’ self-reported data, our youngest participant was 19 and our oldest was 80.

Expertos y expertas del Instituto de Nutrición y Tecnología de los Alimentos (INTA) y de la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas y Farmacéuticas explican cuáles son las normativas en relación a estos productos, cuál es la importancia de que los productores sean específicos con la información nutricional, cuáles son los aportes nutricionales de los quesos y cuáles son los riesgos para la salud por consumir alimentos con altos niveles de grasas saturadas.
Con un enfoque multidisciplinario, el programa de postgrado se enfocará en entregar sustento teórico y análisis práctico para formar especialistas en el diseño, la gestión, el análisis y en la evaluación de políticas públicas en esta materia.Tras la aprobación del programa por unanimidad, tanto en el Consejo Universitario como en el Senado de nuestra casa de estudios, el Instituto de Asuntos Públicos dictará, a partir de 2020, el Magíster en Criminología y Gestión de la Seguridad Ciudadana.
La muestra recrea mediante realidad virtual una expedición a bordo de una nave que permite a sus tripulantes recorrer desde el cráter hasta la cámara magmática de un volcán. Paneles informativos, realidad aumentada, videos y maquetas son también parte de esta exhibición multisensorial de carácter gratuito inspirada en las aventuras de Julio Verne. La iniciativa es impulsada por el Centro de Excelencia en Geotermia de los Andes (CEGA) de la Universidad de Chile.
