Bereits seit 1979 unterstützt die Elterninitiative die Kindermedizin an der Uniklinik Düsseldorf. Neben großen Bauvorhaben wie z.B. dem Elternhaus, in dem Eltern nahe ihrer Kinder auf dem Klinik-Campus wohnen können, werden auch kontinuierlich die Ausstattung und zahlreiche Aktionen auf den Stationen durch Stiftung unterstützt. Dazu zählen auch Angebote wie Clownsbesuche in der Klinik, Kinderkochkurse, therapeutisches Reiten, Musik- und Sporttherapie sowie  Ski- und Segelfreizeiten –auch für Geschwisterkinder.

Projekt „PRO-PHAGE“ – Prof. Dr. Julia Frunzke

Die Regierung der Niederlande hat Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren den Preis für deutsch-niederländische Wissenschaftskooperation 2018 verliehen. Der Preis wird zusammen mit der NWO (der niederländische Pendant zur DFG ) und der Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung für zwei herausragende deutsche Wissenschaftler ausgelobt. Der Preis ist außerdem mit einem Forschungsaufenthalt in Amsterdam verbunden.
 

Am kommenden Sontag (8.10.2017) wird Prof. Dr. Thomas Hoeren bei der Generalversammlung der Internationalen Liga für Wettbewerbsrecht (LIGUE INTERNATIONALE DU DROIT DE LA CONCURRENCE) zum Generalberichterstatter ernannt. Der Generalberichterstatter wird für vier Jahre ernannt und bestimmt mit dem wissenschaftlichen Beirat Themen der Liga für die nächsten vier Jahre.
