Protecting users from scams requires a collaborative effort, one that involves governments, tech platforms, researchers, and civil society. This spirit aligns closely with Safer Internet Lab’s mission to foster multi-stakeholder solutions in combating online harms. In line with this mission, we were honored to take part in the summit “2025 Online Safety Dialogue: Addressing Online Fraud & Scams in APAC,” hosted by Google in Taipei on April 25, 2025.

The Caribbean DPI Summit, held in Kingston, Jamaica from April 8–10, 2025, brought together government leaders, civil society representatives, technologists, researchers, and regional organizations to explore how DPI can serve as a foundation for inclusive, resilient, and people-centered digital transformation across the Caribbean.

In light of Indonesia’s election year, Safer Internet Lab conducted two major surveys to examine the state of information governance: a national public opinion survey and a stakeholder perception survey. The findings from both surveys were launched on January 16, 2025, during an event titled “Rilis Survei Nasional: Menyusun Peta Jalan Menghadapi Gangguan Informasi di Era AI Generatif” at the CSIS Auditorium in Central Jakarta.
