Das ist ein dünner, biegsamer Schlauch mit einem Licht und einer Kamera an der Spitze. Das Endoskop wird durch den Mund bis in den Magen geführt. Anhand der Kameraaufnahmen können Ärztinnen und Ärzte den Gesundheitszustand beurteilen und bei Bedarf Gewebeproben entnehmen.
