Roden erhielt den Preis auf dem Morgagni Symposium 2018 in Venedig, der alle zwei Jahre stattfindenden wissenschaftlichen Tagung der medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Padua. „Dieser Preis stellt eine besondere Anerkennung für die langjährige Zusammenarbeit mit jungen Nachwuchswissenschaftlern und für die kontinuierliche Forschung meiner Arbeitsgruppen dar“, erklärte Prof. Michael Roden, Vorstand am DDZ.
In Deutschland gibt es mehr als 2,6 Millionen alleinerziehende Eltern. Deren Alltag unter der Belastung von Beruf und Kind, ohne einen entlastenden Partner ist oft sehr fordernd. Betroffene geraten körperlich und psychisch unter erheblichen Druck, das Erkrankungsrisiko steigt. Deshalb werden diese wachsende Bevölkerungsgruppe und ihre notwendige Unterstützung auch ausdrücklich im Präventionsgesetz erwähnt.

Peter Kleinebudde für seine bedeutenden Forschungsleistungen im Bereich der Feststoffzubereitungen von Arzneimitteln und deren Design. Er ist erst der vierte Europäer in 30 Jahren Verleihungsgeschichte, der diesen Preis erhielt. Nach der Verleihungszeremonie hielt Prof. Kleinebudde einen Festvortrag zum Thema „Trends in der kontinuierlichen Herstellung von pharmazeutischen Produkten“.
Die Geschichte, Theorie und Ästhetik des Theaters sind eng mit der Frage der Technik und mit (medien-)technologischen Entwicklungen verwoben, jedoch zeigt sich diese Verbindung als Unschärferelation: Die technische Bedingtheit von Theater tritt häufig hinter Fragen der künstlerischen Gestaltung zurück. Der Kongress widmet sich dem Verhältnis von Theater und Technik – der Wirkkraft und Kontinuität von Techniken, Praktiken und Dingen – unter dem Vorzeichen der technologischen Bedingung.
