Encuentro organizado por las universidades de Chile, Católica y de Concepción, junto al Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) permitió estrechar lazos entre investigadores de ambos países y explorar nuevas oportunidades de colaboración en áreas como salud, biodiversidad y ciencias de datos.

Weltweit gehen die Menge und die Vielfalt der Insekten zurück: Dafür hat die Wissenschaft in den vergangenen Jahren immer mehr Hinweise gefunden. In Politik und Gesellschaft haben diese Befunde teils große Besorgnis ausgelöst.
Forscherinnen und Forscher führen das Insektensterben zum einen auf Veränderungen der Landnutzung zurück, beispielsweise auf die Zunahme großer Monokulturen wie Mais und Raps. Zum anderen nennen sie als Ursache auch den Klimawandel mit vermehrter Hitze und Trockenheit.

University of Trier 13-15 October 2021As in previous years, the Kant Research Centre at the University of Trier will be holding the Trier Kant Colloquium. This time, the focus will be on the last piece Kant had published himself, "Der Streit der Fakultäten" ("The Dispute of the Faculties"), in which he attempts to clarify the relationship of the faculties in relation to each other, but above all the task and role of the philosophical faculty. In lectures on all three parts of this piece, its contents will be presented, contextualised and put up for discussion.
