In April 2019 the Internet Society’s Online Trust Alliance published its 10th annual Online Trust Audit & Honor Roll assessing the security and privacy of 1,200 top organizations. The Banking sector includes the top 100 banks in the U.S., based on assets according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Banks had a standout year, with a dramatic increase in scores across the board.

ESAG-Woche
Los geht’s am Dienstag, den 1. Oktober um 12:30 Uhr mit der Einführungsveranstaltung des AStA und aller Fachschaften in den Übertragungshörsälen der 25er- und 26er-Gebäude. Hier gibt es erste Informationen zum Verlauf der ESAG-Woche sowie zu weiteren Ansprechpartnern. Vorgestellt werden die Fachschaftsräte der einzelnen Fächer, die die Betreuung der "Erstsemester" dann übernehmen. Anschließend findet – wie in jedem Jahr - für alle Studierenden des Erstsemesters der traditionelle ESAG-Event auf dem Parkplatz P2 (nahe der Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek) statt.

A propósito del proyecto de ley presentado por el Ministerio de Salud que regula a los vaporizadores y cigarrillos electrónicos, impidiendo su venta a menores y restringiendo la publicidad y su uso en lugares públicos cerrados, María Paz Bertoglia Arredondo, Magíster en Epidemiología y en Bioestadística, y académica de la Escuela de Salud Pública de la Facultad de Medicina, alerta en la siguiente columna sobre el uso de este tipo de dispositivos.

En un encuentro organizado por la Unidad de Adicciones de la Clínica Psiquiátrica Universitaria del Hospital Clínico U. de Chile, a cargo de la implementación de este proyecto pionero, representantes de las comunas de las Colina, Las Condes, Lo Barnechea, Melipilla, Peñalolén y Renca compartieron su experiencia de adaptación del exitoso modelo a su realidad. Con esto se inicia una nueva etapa que corresponde a la firma del llamado "Compromiso Parental", documento que realiza una serie de recomendaciones dirigidas a los padres y apoderados.

En el Palacio Cousiño se realizó ayer la entrega de este reconocimiento que por votación popular elige a los chilenos y chilenas que destacan por su contribución al país.
