Este martes 25 de enero a la medianoche comienza el proceso de matrícula para formar parte de la Casa de Bello, al que han sido convocadas más de siete mil personas provenientes de todo el país para las más de 70 carreras que ofrece el plantel. En este proceso de admisión 2022, la Universidad de Chile es la institución con más postulaciones en primera preferencia del sistema, según cifras de la Subsecretaría de Educación Superior.

I began this diary two months ago when our everyday life started showing the signs of persistent militarization in response to the Russian troops building up near the Ukrainian border. Registering the nuances of this transformation seemed important. Like many, I thought the tension would dissolve, but this is a war diary now.

Wir sind zutiefst besorgt über die humanitären, politischen und ökonomischen Folgen, die dieser Angriff für die Ukraine, aber auch für uns alle, hat und noch haben wird. Unsere besondere Sorge gilt den Studierenden, Wissenschaftskolleginnen und -kollegen und Alumni der JMU an den ukrainischen Universitäten.

Ein Blick in die einschlägige wissenschaftliche Literatur zeigt, dass schon eine Vielzahl anorganischer Exziton-Polariton-Systeme experimentell untersucht und theoretisch beschrieben wurde. Dabei kam stets das allgemein akzeptierte Modell zweier gekoppelter Oszillatoren zum Einsatz, das nur die Kopplung zwischen Exzitonen und Hohlraumphotonen berücksichtigt.
